Registered Membership

1. First time Membership Application:

The following certificates are required before you can complete the IACST Membership Application form, click on Certificates required for Membership for further information.

Qualification Certificate (include your Paeditatric Certificate if you wish to be reigistered as a Paediatric member).
Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology Certificate
First Aid Certificate
Insurance Certificate
Children First Certificate

Once your application is submitted you will be invited to:

apply for Garda Vetting.
submit your certificates and CPD log when requested.
make payment for membership subscription, Garda Vetting fees and optional resources. (see IACST Fees below)

Once all the above steps are completed and Garda Clearance Certificate is received:

A confirmation email with your IACST membership certificate and membership number will be sent to you (Note it can take up to 3 weeks for Garda Clearance)
Your details will be placed on the IACST online register.

2. Membership renewals:

Membership renewals are accepted if:

you were an IACST member within the past 5 years, and
have received your Garda clearance through the IACST

To fill out the renewal form you will need dates from your following Certificates:

First Aid/CPR Certificate
Children First Certificate
Insurance Certificate

Following application you will be required to submit when requested:

Certificates renewed since last membership application (for example: Insurance, First Aid and Chidlren First)
your CPD Log

Once your application is submitted you will be invited to:

complete payment of annual membership fee and optional resources (see IACST Fees below) within the renewal window of Oct 1st and Nov 31st. Please Note failure to renew within membership renewal window will result in:
- removal from online register
- an adminstration fee of €50 for late applications

3. Membership Fees and optional resources

A payment request for membership and additional fees will be sent following your application submission.

Garda Vetting processing is €25
Annual Membership for 2023/2024:
- €100 if joining between 1st Nov - 30th April
- €50 if joining between 1st May - 30th Oct.

Members have the option of purchasing IACST optional members resources.

the option for €50 to have their own Personal Profile webpage on the IACST website which allows you to showcase additional information.
the option of purchasing Personalised digital copy of the IACST Leaflet for adults or children for €40 each or €60 for both which allows you a lifetime access for printing and promotion.
