A one day taster for the brand new Upledger Class "CSLB - CST and Listening to the Second Brain."

This day qualifies for 7 hours of CST Formal CPD hours

Think of the long tube from mouth to anus (nearly 9 metres long) as the outside world inside us. Think of the complex and incredibly important Intestinal Epithelial Barrier as being "between two worlds". Think of the tube being our biggest external surface. A place where we respond to the outside world - do you approach or withdraw? Is your response relaxed and calm or full of tension and anxiety? How does this affect your gut?

Add to this the knowledge that our life experience, especially our emotional experiences, have more impact on our mental and physical health than any other contributing factor and that we are rediscovering, as Hippocrates said, "All disease begins in the gut", and you can see why our work here would benefit from more knowledge, practice and experience.

The day will include some basic anatomy of the gut, a look at some of the new research and an opportunity to get on the table and begin to explore your own stories.

We will also have a full workshop for "Listening to the Second Brain" on the 9th - 12th March 2018 at the Westgrove Hotel Clane. Anyone attending the Intro day in October can avail of €50 discount if they book in for the full workshop!
