FICTA UPDATE:
FICTA (Federation of Irish Complimentary Therapy Associations) has issued all its members with the following:
"The Department of Health(DoH) Regulation Unit has confirmed that it is not party to and has no ownership or role in the GRCCT".
FICTA is the umbrella organisation that The IACST Ltd is under and they are the voice of the IACST at Government level. One of the important aims at present is to prevent therapies such as Craniosacral Therapy becoming illegal to practice. The DoH has also stated that they "continue to support and encourage voluntary self-regulation(VSR)" which The IACST Ltd along with FICTA are striving to achieve on behalf of their members.
